Who counselling supports
A confidential space focused on what matters to you
People come to individual counselling for many reasons. You may be living with anxiety, stress, grief, low mood or self-doubt. You may be navigating a relationship change, parenting pressure, work difficulties or a transition that has unsettled your sense of direction.
You do not need a diagnosis or a perfectly formed goal before starting. Counselling can begin with the experience you are having now. Together, we can slow things down, understand the patterns around the problem and identify changes that feel realistic for your life.
What sessions involve
Collaborative support at a manageable pace
Sessions are conversational and tailored to you. Depending on your needs, we may explore thoughts and emotions, relationship patterns, coping responses, personal values and practical strategies for managing difficult moments.
Andrew draws on person-centred, emotionally focused and mindfulness-informed approaches. The work is not about giving you a list of instructions. It is about helping you feel heard, understand yourself more clearly and build choices that fit who you are.
